There is no doubt that technology has grown quite a bit and at a super quick rate of speed. Just a little over a year ago I started my journey to learn more about QR Codes and now just in this short amount of time the technology has grown at an amazing rate of speed. I believe the growth has the masses thinking that quick growth will mean a quick death. These are of course the people that are in Social Media related industries where things move at a super quick rate of speed.  In technology related industries people are moving so quick that they are trying to get to the next best thing at all times. 

The benefits of QR codes far out pace just social media, technology and Marketing related industries. These other industries will more likely than not continue to utilize QR codes.  Some of these industries are the Pharmaceutical, EMT, Education, City Government, Eco-Friendly and Medical fields. For these industries QR codes offer practical, life saving and money saving options. For instance there is talk of using QR codes in the Pharmaceutical Industry to minimize medication mistakes. This is HUGE as many people have adverse effects from receiving medications in error.

So the bigger picture is that QR Codes are technologies that can be adapted and utilized for many purposes. These uses will transcend what some may view as valuable in their lives, but there will be many people and industries that will continue to use them as they present ongoing value. I don’t see the value of QR codes diminishing anytime soon as the uses seem to be constantly expanding.
